BRIAN MOUNTFORD

Oxford Round Table, Reverend Canon Brian Mountford, Vicar of St. Mary's, The University Church (of the University of Oxford) is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Oxford Round Table and has served as Facilitator of Oxford Round Table sessions for three years titled:  Religion, 2006;  Evolution and
Religion, 2007;  Church and State, 2008;  and Religion and Science, 2008.

Reverend Mountford is also Chaplain of St. Hilda's College in the University of Oxford, and is a Fellow of the College.

Before coming to Oxford Canon Mountford was a Fellow and Chaplain of Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge and earlier Vicar of Southgate Church in North London.  He was ordained in 1968 in St. Paul's Cathedral, London.

Dr. Mountford has written many books on religion, including the popular Happiness in 10 Minutes, 2006;  Christianity in Ten Minutes, 2006;  and Perfect Freedom, 2003.
